My Friday  class is suitable for both beginners and  more experienced makers. The class holds eight participants, and runs in six week blocks. Most students keep coming for several months or even years and their skills develop over time. There is a strong social element to this class and students learn from and support each other as much as they do from me. The kettle is always on and friendships are made!

Individuals work on projects of their own choosing and once they have learned the basic skills and practised using various tools and materials they go on to explore the wide variety of techniques at their disposal to suit different situations.

Most people begin by making a wall piece for their home- maybe a house number plate or a mirror. They may then go on to make three dimensional pieces or mosaics for their garden. I encourage people to try a variety of techniques as their confidence and curiosity grows. There is no set curriculum, but plenty of guidance. It’s a class which supports the individual needs and wishes of the student, developing confidence in their own designs and skills to produce work in their own unique style.

Because of the ongoing developmental nature of this class places don’t come up too often. I do have a waiting list though and will contact you immediately a place becomes free.

At present this class costs £150 for the six week block, payable in advance.
